I am shrinking. Intentionally. I have fled most of the social media groups to which I once belonged. So, to cut to the chase, does anyone care about this blog? It's okay if you don't. Because that will be one less thing for me to manage. But if you follow my vain and extemporaneous writings here (and enjoy doing so), let me know.
Ray, I enjoy reading your work here and seeing your pieces appear on itch.io. I also enjoy listening to Plundergrounds but haven't been listening recently because my commute has been greatly shortened…
ReplyDeleteHowever, I do feel like one should express one's self wherever most comfortable. I'll seek out your stuff wherever you decide to put it.
Yes! I really value your perspective on gaming, particularly your look at it through the worlds of art & fiction. I guess I could live with only the podcast but the more Ray the better in my mind.
ReplyDeleteI gleefully check for updates, Ray. Please keep reading.
ReplyDeleteI only wish more people knew of this blog.
Still following along :D
ReplyDeleteAllan.
I'm a fan!
ReplyDeleteIf it isn't fun anymore you don't have to keep it up, but if you have things to say I'll enjoy reading them.
I still read it.
ReplyDeleteI can't speak for anyone else, but I for one really enjoy the stuff you put here, moreso even than your podcast. Though I understand if there are other things you want to devote energy to.
ReplyDeleteI just found out that you had a blog. Someone shared it on Twitter. I added to my RSS aggregator and going back through the older posts now
ReplyDeleteI'm reading! I'm up for more of The Viridian Scroll if there's more to be had in the future.
ReplyDeleteAnd congrats on fleeing social media - I've been doing the same recently, and have no regrets at all. But blogs are something different, and are still part of the mix for me.
I'm a recent follower as well as Travis, and although I haven't gotten around to perusing your backlog yet, I hope I will get the chance. Looking forward to any new stuff as well!
ReplyDeleteFrance is listening.
ReplyDeleteOr at least... one of us.
Hopefully you keep it up! If you do shut it down, where will your main output be?
ReplyDeleteI was first alerted to your zines for Dungeon World via a Gauntlet podcast. Just 2 days ago someone mentioned on Twitter you had a blog so I'm going to regularly revisit this one, if that's any help.
ReplyDeleteI was first alerted to your work on a Gauntlet podcast. Then a Yochai Gal tweet brought me to this blog (I didn't know it existed) 2 days ago and I'll revisit regularly now.
ReplyDeleteJust be aware for every 1 that comments, statistically there are about 90 who read this but don't.
Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! This was incredibly affirming and helpful.
